Volunteer Opportunities
NCCF is currently looking for
volunteer tutors to provide tutorial services for our students,
K-12, in the hospital and in the community, in all subject areas.
Tutors must be competent in the subject material and must be at
least 15 years of age.

Advocacy
No one can be more of an expert
on the child's needs than the parents. Becoming an advocate for
your child is the biggest role you will play in the success of
your child's education. Attached is a website that allows parents
the opportunity to become equipped with the necessary information
to ensure their child's needs are being met by the school district
or school in which they attend.

Tutoring Begins: September 7th
Monday and Wednesday (K-8) -
3:00pm to 6:00pm
Tuesday and Thursday (9-12) - 2:30pm to 5:30pm

program to help your child fill in the gaps to concepts missed so
that they may continue to progress with their peers and not be

- Read to Me Las Vegas is a youth reading program where students
and their parents can go online watch and listen to a story read
by celebrities of Las Vegas. Tip: Go online and view the books
they have. Choose a story you would like to hear. Then go to the
library and check the book out so that you may follow along.
