Classroom Happenings and Upcoming Events

NCCF and The Torino Foundation Education Services Program presents the annual C.A.P.S. Ceremony celebrating students of all ages, teachers, tutors, and participants who have shown Courage, Achievement, Perseverance, and Success in the education program and the Torino Foundation Classroom. This memorable event includes a yearbook presentation ceremony, announcement of honors for special achievement, and a yearbook signing session with refreshments. This is a wonderful event that celebrates a child’s success and graduation to their next great level.

Contests
In addition to classroom studies and homework, the NCCF Education Support Staff creates weekly and monthly contests for children to participate. The many creations, writings, and tournament photos are posted in the classroom and in the quarterly NCCF Newsletters that reaches over 2,500 supporters and donors.

Student of the Month
As a participant of the NCCF's Torino Foundation Classroom, a child may receive the Student of the Month award based on their grades, studies, participation and teamwork. These students and others also receive classroom reward points that may be applied toward special lunches, gift cards, movie tickets, and more to help motivate patients.

Student of the Year
As a participant of the NCCF's Torino Foundation Classroom, a child may receive the Student of the Year award based on grades, studies, participation and teamwork. This special student is honored at the Annual Profiles of Courage Gala, featured event program and NCCF newsletter in addition to receiving an award.
