The Caring Place

The Caring Place Provides The Torino Foundation Healing Arts Services at The Betty Foster-Garrett Center.

The Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation offers two locations for services and programs in the Las Vegas Community.  The Caring Place Program location offers adult services as well as scheduled pediatric patient activities. 

The Caring Place, a program of Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, is dedicated to easing the journey of those adults touched by cancer as well as pediatric patients diagnosed with life threatening illnesses. An oasis away from medical facilities, The Caring Place provides no-cost programs and services to support, educate and empower those who have or have had cancer, their family members, friends, and caregivers.

The programs and services are intended to assist in healing mind, body and soul and are not a replacement for medical care.
We are committed to improving your quality of life and helping you experience joy and peace.

 

Pediatric services offered by The Caring Place include:

Teens in Treatment Makeup Class	Relaxing Yoga for Kids
Reflexology	Interactive Singing Bowls Class
Knitting for Fun Class	Reiki Sessions
Live Performances by Native American Flute Circle	Jewelry Making Class

 

Adult services offered by The Caring Place include:
